Flint River Ranch Nugget Size for Larger Adult Dogs is about 1/4" x 5/8" rectangular in shape and is designed for larger dogs. The nugget formula is the same as the regular adult; however, it has a harder edge and will be a crustier, darker brown in color. The big dogs LOVE it!
This item is shipped in bags of 20 pounds or less for customer convenience. If you order 40 pounds, for instance, you will receive a shipment of two 20-pound bags. So don't worry about lugging around a 40-pound bag of dog food!

Feeding Guide |
Because the Flint River Ranch Pet Foods are high density, you feed 20%-25% less than other foods. Each serving delivers maximum nutrition without fillers, so you'll also notice a lower stool volume and less clean-up.
It is better to introduce Flint River Ranch Super Premium foods by mixing with your dogs usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch over several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the rich, easy to digest, Super Premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dogs digestive system. You may notice loose stool. If so, reduce the amount being fed until your dog adjusts.
Nutritional requirements will vary according to breed, age, activity level and lifestyle. When changing diets, feed at least 20% less of this high density kibble than previous brands. Feed your dog once or twice per day. Suggested daily amounts in cups per day are given below:
40-50 lbs 2.0 to 2.2 Cups
60-70 lbs 2.5 to 3.2 Cups
80-99 lbs 3.5 to 4.7 Cups
